Why an aquamarine?

Origin of the aquamarine

The name aquamarine comes from the Latin words “aqua” and “marina”, which mean “water” and “sea”. The myth tells that the stone was widely worn by seafarers to protect them from the dangers of the seas. The color of aquamarine would resemble the colors of the seas and oceans. The aquamarine as a gemstone from the treasury of the mermaids, were to have a positive effect on your love life. It would bring happiness and harmony in your life and should do wonders for your marriage. The gem has a positive effect on heart, liver and throat.
